In Part 1 we looked at the relationship between the opposing Houses (the First/Seventh, the Second/Eighth, and the Third/Ninth). Jung focused a lot on the tension of opposites, especially between the conscious and the unconscious, and this can easily be translated into astrology, which is full of opposites. In this second webinar I would like to look at the pairings of the Fourth/Tenth, Fifth/Eleventh and Sixth/Twelfth Houses to try and get beyond the traditional buzz-words for these Houses. The Houses are often the most misunderstood aspect for the astrology student as some of the meanings assigned to the Houses are often a little confusing, for example, they might read the Fifth House ‘rules’ creativity, children, gambling, love affairs.
How can the astrologer truly help their client without understanding the psychological essence of why these, often disconnected, areas are assigned to a particular house? In this webinar we will be particularly focusing on how the astrologer can interpret the Houses in their clients’ charts in the most therapeutic and enlightening way so that the client can have a deeper understanding of their core motivations and acceptance of who they are. We will be looking at example charts to bring the theory to life!
