DL was introduced to Astrology more than twenty-five years ago by a work colleague. She was skeptical to begin with, coming from a science background and working as a health professional, but the accuracy of her first major reading blew her away.

After years of self-study, she finally took the plunge to study formally for three years at the Centre for Psychological Astrology and the Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology, while being mentored by Anne Whitaker. She gained her diploma in 2022.

DL has been published in the Astrological Journal and has made appearances on Talk Radio: The Trisha Goddard Show and The Kevin O’Sullivan Show. She currently has a weekly radio show on Bute Island Radio on Sunday evenings between 8 and 10pm, UK Time, which can be listened to online from anywhere in the world.

DL’s Astrology practice, The Island Astrologer, is based in Scotland and she is current Chair of Aquarius Rising: The Glasgow Astrology Tribe.

I have been fascinated by Astrology since I was a young child. I always asked people which sun sign they were, but didn’t understand how people of the same sun sign could be quite so different from each other. Then, when I was a teenager, a friend gave me a ‘real’ book about Astrology and finally it all started to make sense! I realised that it is not just our sun signs which represent our natures – in fact, all the planets, and the signs they are in, represent different parts of our personality.

I undertook formal training in Psychological Astrology, studying deeply for four years with the CPA, the Centre for Psychological Astrology and MISPA, the Mercury Internet School for Psychological Astrology, qualifying with their diploma. My tutors included the wonderful John Green, Clare Martin, Darby Costello and Lynn Bell. During this time, I was also privileged to have been tutored by Dr. Liz Greene, Astrologer, Jungian analyst and author.

I am currently training in London to become a Psychosynthesis Therapist at the Psychosynthesis Trust and am a fulltime astrologer. I regularly attend conferences, seminars and workshops and give introductory talks about Astrology. I am a member of the Astrological Association, the largest Astrological organisation in Europe.

I have a background working in healing and therapy, both self-employed and at The Bristol Cancer Help Centre, now known as Penny Brohn Cancer Care.

I graduated from MISPA in 2018, and that´s when I started my practice full time. My other educational background is BN (Hons) and a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology (MSc). I specialize in karmic- and psychological astrology.

I´m also teacher at the 3-year long Finnish Astrological Education Program ‘The Soul’s Journey – School of Psychological and Karmic Astrology Ltd’. Currently I hold the chair for the Association for Professional Astrologers in Finland. I have published books in Finnish and now in Swedish and upcoming English, about Karmic astrology, and written articles in The Evolving Astrologer (The Career Astrologer) magazines.

My fields of interest lie in Psychological and Developmental astrology, Karmic astrology (especially middle European karmic techniques) and in relationship astrology. With a background in Psychological Astrology, Psychosynthesis Lifecoaching, and Counseling, I am honing my skills in Traditional Medical Astrology.My approach intertwines these disciplines into a transformative
methodology, offering profound astrological insights and transpersonal psychology-based processes to guide clients in aligning with their inner selves and life purpose.
I am dedicated to conducting consultations and trainings aimed at ‘solving’ astrological patterns through clients’ emerging and evolutionary needs, with a particular focus on empowering women through their ‘personal astrosynthesis’.

My ultimate aspiration is to support clients in recognizing their Higher
Selves and bringing forth their purpose, meaning, and values.

Gemma is an astrologer, author, lecturer, facilitator of sacred circles, and practitioner of core shamanism. ASTROSPIRAL is where she offers her multidimensional astrology services: consultations, astro-coaching, courses, and multidisciplinary transformative experiences. Merging creative disciplines and techniques, and exploring character design and archetypes with experiential astrology allows clients to connect with latent potential and manifest their uniqueness.

She is interested in the journey of the creative soul and has been exploring two main subjects: lunations cycles and Venus synodic cycle (as Inanna journey).

Gemma is an artist and a designer. She creates audiovisual pieces, graphics designs and artifacts that express archetypal concepts. She is co-founder of R.B.Dharma, a collaborative multidisciplinary art project exploring the liminal mind (Mercury). They’re being exhibiting in Trans-States: the Art of Crossing Over (UK).

Since 2005, she has being studying different branches of astrology. Her approach is humanistic, and she uses a theoretical framework derived from Jungian psychology, transpersonal and evolutionary astrology.

She holds certifications in the Venus Star Point®, Diploma in Psychological Astrology (MISPA), Matrix of Lunation Cycles. MA Costume Design, and a postgraduate diploma in Art therapy. Her background is in textile and pattern design. She is the author of the book Los Planetas (2019 Ed. Cosmograma).

Max Black is a MISPA trained Psychological Astrologer and IAAP-accredited Jungian Analyst who integrates depth psychology with astrological symbolism to support clients on their journey of self-discovery. Trained at MISPA and certified as a Jungian Analyst at the CG Jung Institute in Zürich, Max joins these disciplines to explore the psyche’s unconscious patterns, mythic narratives, and individuation process.

Drawing on Carl Jung’s theories of archetypes, the shadow, and the Self, Max approaches the birth chart as a dynamic map of the soul’s development. This synthesis allows for a nuanced exploration of psychological conflicts, life transitions, and personal growth, offering clients an understanding of their inner world and life path.

Whether through astrological consultation or Jungian analysis, Max provides a reflective space for clients to engage with their deeper nature and life purpose.

Milja’s path into astrology began in the 1970s as a personal journey that gradually intertwined with her professional life. Originally from the Netherlands, she moved to France and worked in IT while also serving as a union delegate for over a decade—an experience that deepened her understanding of organizational dynamics and human behavior. Alongside this, poetry and astrology became essential tools of expression and reflection.
Poetry taught Milja how rhythm, silence, and metaphor could open doors to emotion and perception. Astrology offered a similar path—one that bypassed logic to access the symbolic and intuitive. Influenced by the psychological astrology of Liz Greene and cosmological perspectives, Milja studied professionally at MISPA (UK) and trained as a mediator in France.
In her current work as a social counselor and mediator during company restructurings, astrology supports conflict resolution by offering symbolic distance. Mediation, much like astrology, allows space for the irrational—what’s felt but not always spoken. Rather than solving conflict in a linear way, Milja helps reframe it through metaphor and chart work. This approach fosters insight, acceptance, and transformation, blending the practical with the poetic, and reason with intuition.

Niki Pazsitzky is a professional astrologer with a focus on psychological astrology. She holds a Diploma in Psychological Astrology from MISPA and is also a member of the Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI). She has been studying astrology for over a decade and is committed to empowering her clients through a psychological and archetypal approach and to helping them live more fully, authentically, and consciously. Her purpose through her astrological work is to provide her clients not only with a deeper understanding of themselves and how they fit into the world at large, but also to inspire in them a sense of awe and wonder towards the cosmos and the cyclical nature of life.

She works with both individuals and couples, and provides Natal Chart Readings, Year Ahead Forecasts, Couples Consultations, and Open Sessions where clients can bring questions and gain perspective on any dilemmas, challenges, or life transitions they are experiencing. She is currently based in Budapest, Hungary and works with clients in person and online via Zoom. She provides consultations in English and Hungarian.

Jennifer Fukushima (she/they) is I a registered psychotherapist and professional astrologer based in Toronto, Ontario Canada.  As a psychotherapist, she specializes in incorporating astrological symbolism into ongoing sessions for clients, working from a holistic depth psychology, somatic and spiritually integrated lens.  Jennifer works from a feminist, anti-capitalist, anti-oppression lens.  Her practice areas of focus include but are not limited to: assertiveness and boundary setting, self-esteem, anger management, identity, 2SLGBTQ experience, racialized identity, spiritual emergencies, altered states of consciousness, depression and anxiety.  Jennifer also runs a peer-consultation group for Ontario based psychotherapists who want to incorporate astrology into their practice.

As an astrologer, Jennifer has been the president of Astrology Toronto since 2018.  She follows the modern, western psychological tradition, offering chart interpretation to explore client strengths, areas of growth and major life themes, as well as forecasting, relationship exploration and vocational work.

Jess Abbott, Dip. MISPA, is a psychological astrologer and the creator of Inkblot Astrology, a practice built on the belief that the birth chart functions much like an inkblot test—an intricate pattern that invites careful observation, reflection, and interpretation.

She holds certification through the Centre for Psychological Astrology and a diploma from the Mercury Internet School of Psychological Astrology (MISPA). Jess draws from both psychological and traditional astrological methods, using classical rulerships and the Campanus house system. Her work is deeply informed by the teachings of Liz Greene, Darby Costello, and Dane Rudhyar, whose writing bridges astrology, psychology, and the human experience.

Originally rooted in a worldview shaped by rationalism and skepticism, Jess experienced a profound shift after an unexplainable event in her early twenties challenged her understanding of reality. This opened the door to astrology as a powerful tool for working with uncertainty, meaning, and human complexity. Through one-on-one consultations, she offers a thoughtful and grounded space for clients who are ready to engage more deeply with their own inner landscape.

In addition to her private practice, Jess hosts the Inkblot Astrology podcast and runs a Patreon community, offering real-time transit interpretation, a book club, and educational resources for astrology students and enthusiasts. She also writes in-depth articles on her website, blending psychological insight with astrological symbolism for those looking to deepen their study.

Darby Costello is an American born astrologer based in the UK. She lives in London where she teaches and gives consultations. Darby is a well-loved speaker who shares her teaching at astrological events around the world. She received an MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology from Bath Spa University in 2006 and the Charles Harvey award in 2013. She has written several books. However, her first love is doing charts and she considers this the ground from which her inspiration is continually nourished.

Juliet Sharman-Burke has been practising astrology and tarot for over twenty years. She has been teaching and supervising for the Centre for Psychological Astrology since its inception in June 1983, and now runs the Centre’s administration. She joined MISPA in 2015. She is also a qualified analytic psychotherapist with a private practice in London.

Juliet is the author of The Complete Book of Tarot, The Mythic Tarot Workbook, Understanding Tarot, Mastering the Tarot, Beginner’s Guide to the Tarot, and co-author of The Mythic Tarot and The Mythic Journey with Liz Greene.

She has also written The Barefoot Book of Stories from the Stars, a book for children, The Family Inheritance: Parental Images in the Horoscope (Vol. 3 of the CPA Press Seminar Series) and The Astrologer, the Counsellor and the Priest (Vol. 2 of the CPA Press Seminar Series) with Liz Greene. Helen Sewell is a professional psychological astrologer, having gained a diploma with the CPA in the late 1990s. With over 25 years client experience, she now has a busy international private practice in East Sussex. Helen is also a Relate-trained couple therapist and has found astrology to be a particularly useful tool when addressing relationship issues if clients request this. Over the years, Helen has taught astrology to various groups including deputising as tutor for the beginners class at the CPA. She joined MISPA at its inception in 2015.

Being passionate about astrology she has put a lot of energy into informing people about its validity as a worthwhile tool in helping to deepen understanding of the human condition and as a mirror to world events, providing a road map to what can sometimes be bewildering experiences. With this in mind, as well as addressing astrologers Helen often speaks to groups and presents at conferences around the world where the audience have little or no knowledge of astrology, to wave the flag for this often maligned art. Helen’s work has been featured in several magazines, and she has appeared on numerous radio shows and her presentations on Sky’s Edge TV and YouTube have been watched by many people.

Lynn Bell is a Paris-based astrologer whose work spans multiple cultures as a speaker, teacher, author and consultant in astrology. She has been teaching at The Centre for Psychological Astrology in London since 1995, and has had an active consultation practice in Paris for over twenty-five years. Living in France, she has developed a strongly cyclic approach to astrology and blended it with her own psychological work as well as training in Eriksonian Hypnosis and work in family therapy.

A background in literature and sociology come together in an keen interest in the relationship between the individual and collective cycles. She has spoken at most of the major astrology conferences in the world, UAC, ISAR, the World Congress in Switzerland and the FAA in Australia, as well as many other venues in the UK and Europe, Mexico and the US. She has been a tutor for The Faculty of Astrological Studies Summer school in Oxford, and teaches seminars internationally. She has recently taught seminars in Austria, Norway, Holland and Germany, as well as France and Mexico. She joined MISPA at its inception in 2015.

Her articles have appeared in The Mountain Astrologer, Apollon, The AA Journal, Meridian and other major astrological publications. Her most recent book is Cycles of Light: Exploring the Mysteries of Solar Returns (2005). She is co-author Of the Mars Quartet(2001) (with Darby Costello, Liz Greene and Melanie Reinhart) and the author of Planetary Threads (1999) , which explores family patterns in astrology. She helped create L’Association Française d’Astropsychologie in Paris.

Shawn Nygaard is an archetypal astrologer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In addition to private readings, Shawn has created and taught astrology classes in the Twin Cities for over a decade, focusing on the in-depth meaning and imagery of the astrological symbols. He has been a regular speaker at Nightlight Astrology, as well as the Minnesota Jung Association. In 2015, he spoke at The 47th Annual Conference of the Astrological Association, and most recently spoke at the 2017 NCGR Conference. In 2011 he hosted the internet radio show “Imagine That!” about archetypal astrology. His writing has been published in The Mountain Astrologer. Shawn has a great love for the arts and culture in general, which he weaves into his teaching, as they greatly enhance archetypal astrology. Shawn is a graduate of the CMED Institute in Chicago, where he studied archetypes and symbolism with Caroline Myss. Shawn joined MISPA as a tutor in 2017.
